New Year Message

My Dear Clients,

As we enter into 2021, I wanted to express my appreciation for the unique energy you have brought to our work together over the past year. No matter how long we have been in this process I am eternally grateful for your willingness to be open, honest and vulnerable. When you are at a loss for what to do in these most challenging of times I want you to know, as far as I am concerned, YOU ARE DOING IT!  I always say, “ This work is not for the faint of heart!” Thank you for being shining examples of how to show up and engage the difficult. This is where I truly believe the road to health, transformation and fulfillment live. And that’s not all, you have helped me be more present to my own life and you have held me accountable by being so damned sharp!  I always brag to my colleagues, “I have the BEST clients!”  Words cannot express how proud I am of all of you, and how much promise I feel for the future because of you. May you enjoy the fruits of your labor in 2021. Happy New Year!

All The Best,

Karen

On Being with Krista Tippett

Embodiment therapies such as SAT can be a powerful avenue for healing deep trauma of systemic racism. The critical nature of clearing emotional blockages is addressed in trauma therapist, Resmaa Menakem’s book, “My Grandmothers Hands .“; Take a listen to his revolutionary interview with Krista Tippet as they discuss a path for black bodies, white bodies, and blue bodies (police), to heal trauma and our culture of white body supremacy.
